6 Month Genuine Warranty
What is a 'Genuine' Warranty?
The word warranty is thrown around fairly casually in this industry. While many repair services say they have a warranty, very few deliver when it comes to the crunch. Our warranty is genuine: not just for show. In summary, provided you have not damaged your device after the repair, we will cover any malfunction relating to the parts used and work done on your device, if it is deemed to be caused by or relating to the repairs. Terms & Conditions
Defects in parts and labour are covered for up to 6 months from the date of the invoice issued with your repair. Warranty pertains only to the work carried out and referred to in the invoice you have been issued with. Please note that a full system test is run on the device both before and after repair, unless the phone is unable to be used (prior to repair). Any existing issues will be communicated during the repair process. If there are problems after receiving the repaired device, the customer must notify Inspect Your Gadget immediately, and the device must be returned for warranty assessment as soon as possible. Warranty coverage will not be offered without physical inspection of the device, nor will it be offered on issues that have occured in the past, but were not mentioned until now.
Damage
Damage caused to the device once it has left the premises is not covered under any circumstance: no exceptions. Computers and mobile devices contain sensitive electronics and even a minor drop can damage the screen or other functions. Damage referred to includes: impact, pressure, bending, and liquid damage. Warranty cover will not be offered if there has been any damage, however minor, to the device since the repair work was completed.
Water-proofing
Every care has been taken to reassemble the device to the same standard as it was originally assembled, including application of waterproof adhesive where possible. However, devices that were considered waterproof prior to repair cannot be guaranteed to be waterproof post-repair, and water damage will not be covered under warranty. This is standard for all repair services across New Zealand.
